Al-Hilal Bolster Attack with Late Signing of Veteran Striker Hamdallah for Club World Cup Quarterfinal
July 3rd – Saudi Pro League giants Al-Hilal have officially announced the loan signing of 34-year-old striker Abderrazak Hamdallah from Al-Riyadh, with the Moroccan forward being added to their 2025 Club World Cup squad as an emergency reinforcement.
Hamdallah, who previously played in the Chinese Super League, brings extensive experience in Asian competitions. His arrival aims to strengthen Al-Hilal's attacking options ahead of their crucial quarterfinal clash against Fluminense.

To ensure Hamdallah's timely registration, the Saudi Football Federation proactively opened the summer transfer window early, with the official start date set for July 3. This special measure allowed the club to complete all procedures before the Club World Cup roster deadline.

The quarterfinals kick off this weekend, with Al-Hilal facing Brazilian side Fluminense. The winner will advance to the semifinals to meet either Palmeiras or Chelsea in the next round.
