Bayern Munich
cruised to a 5-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League on Tuesday night. The match, hosted in Gelsenkirchen due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, saw a thrilling display of attacking football from the German giants.  

Shakhtar took an early lead through a Kevin goal, but Bayern quickly responded with a Konrad Laimer equalizer and a Thomas Müller goal to take the lead before halftime. Michael Olise extended the advantage in the second half with a penalty, and Jamal Musiala added a fourth. Olise then completed his brace in stoppage time to seal the emphatic victory.

Bayern's starting lineup featured Daniel Peretz in goal, with a defensive line of Laimer, Dayot Upamecano, Minjae Kim, and Raphaël Guerreiro. Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka anchored the midfield, while Olise, Musiala, and Leroy Sané provided attacking support behind striker Thomas Müller. In the second half, Sacha Boey, Mathys Tel, Adam Aznou, Eric Dier, and Arijon Ibrahimović replaced Guerreiro, Sané, Laimer, Kim, and Müller, respectively.
